Hi, there, Darling. I'm Caitlin Riegel

As you can tell, I write books, duh. My favorite pastime is writing morally grey men and strong, witty women who sweep you up into historical adventures full of longing, drama, and oodles of spice. Here's a few things you should know about me as the conductor of your next thrilling adventure...

1. I like my gentleman fierce, protective, and willing to kill for their ladies. They're scoundrels and fiends, but once you get to know them, you'll be eating out their hands like the good girl you are. 

2. I hate female characters that have the personality of wet paper, so I don't write them. I write what I like to call "badasses in ballgowns". You'll see. 

3. My style is unique in a way I hope you haven't experienced before. I like to bend the rules of literature, and I like even more when I get away with it. 

4. I will die on the hill that oxford commas should be used hence forth and forever more. Fight me. 

The rest of my story, you'll have to find between the pages. And remember, an author sacrifices bits of themselves to create the magic you enjoy escaping into. So, be kind when reading their work, because you are truly reading their soul.
